What's on the Menu!!!



Well once again we had a great week of planned out meals. I can't tell you how easy dinner time is when you already have a plan! Since Derreck (my wonderful husband) will be at work for the next two weeks, you will notice that meals are a little more simple and easy on my part. Even though they might be simple and easy I still feel that it is important for us to continue with a normal dinner and family time when Derreck is away.

So here is the menu for this week:

Monday:

Breakfast: Skipped
Lunch: Went to Warehouse for Work so we ate at Sonic
Kids Snack: Gold Fish Crackers, Jell-O, Juice
Dinner: Chili Dogs

Tuesday:

Breakfast: Cereal
Lunch: Left Over Roast Sandwich
Kids Snack: Chips, Pudding, Juice
Dinner: Chicken & Dumplings

Wednesday:

Breakfast: Toast
Lunch: Dumplings
Kids Snack: Crackers, Cheese Sticks, Juice
Dinner: Left Over Dumplings (Don't worry I will not be tired of them!)

Thursday:

Breakfast: Cereal
Lunch: Soup
Kids Snack: Gold Fish Crackers, Jell-O, Juice
Dinner: Bible Study bring Cheesy Potatoes

Friday:

Breakfast: Toast
Lunch: Peanut Butter Sandwich
Kids Snack: Chips, Pudding, Juice
Dinner: Tacos

Saturday:

Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs & Toast
Lunch: Ham & Cheese Sandwiches
Dinner: Turkey Bake & Chicken Rice

Sunday:

Breakfast: Cheese Toast
Lunch: Peanut Butter Sandwiches & Soup
Dinner: Hamburger Helper Meal

What's on the Menu!!



This week I'm joining in the Menu Planning Mayhem at Desiring Virtue again! I love the fact that I can look at my calender, see what is suppose to be for dinner and go from there. It makes things so much easier, especially when things are so busy.  Last week we ended up ordering chicken after the boys birthday party, so we used that meal on Monday!

I don't always cook the meals on the particular day that I have them listed, but once I make the menu, I make the grocery list, so everything that is needed for the meals is on hand. If for some reason I don't have enough time to cook the meal listed for that day, then I choose a easier one.

Here is our menu for this week:

Monday:

Breakfast: Cereal
Lunch: BBQ Sandwiches
Kids Snack: Chips, String Cheese, Juice
Dinner: Meatloaf, Mash Potatoes, and Salad

Tuesday:

Breakfast: Kaloches
Lunch: Skipped
Kids Snack: Chips, Granola Bars, Juice
Dinner: Spaghetti & Cheesy bread

Wednesday:

Breakfast: Cereal
Lunch: Sandwiches
Kids Snack: Crackers, Jell-O, Juice
Dinner: Sun Dried Tomato Chicken, Chicken Rice, Green Beans & Rolls

Thursday:

Breakfast: Breakfast Burritos
Lunch: Sandwiches
Kids Snack: Cookies, Pudding, Juice
Dinner: (Bible Study) Taco Soup

Friday:

Breakfast: Cheese Toast
Lunch: Left overs
Kids Snack: Crackers, String Cheese, Juice
Dinner: Ham, Pinto Beans, & Corn Bread

Saturday:

Breakfast: Egg Toast
Lunch: Sandwiches
Dinner: (Boys Night Out) Pizza

Sunday:

Breakfast: Cereal
Lunch: Grilled Cheese
Dinner: Roast, Potatoes, Corn on Cob, Carrots, & Rolls

Menu Planning



I have seen lots of ladies on the blogs that I read plan their menus and share them with others. I have menu planned for awhile now, not so much lately though. As school is starting back tomorrow, and life continues to get crazier, it is time to get back into routines.

Desiring Virtue is starting a Menu Monday link up. Since I have been in a blogger funk lately, I thought this would be great to join. Our menus are based on what we like and the activities that we are currently involved in. I look forward to getting new recipes from others and adding to our menus!

Dinner: Prayer Meeting - Shepherd's Pie

Friday:

Dinner: Date Night!! Steaks, Baked Potatoes, Salad, Honey Wheat Rolls

Saturday:

Breakfast: Breakfast Ring
Lunch: Boy's Birthday Party - Hot Dogs, Chips & Cake
Dinner: Meat Loaf, Mash Potatoes,  Corn, & Rolls

Sunday:
